TURKISHCOURSE RULES
GENERAL
1. Personal attacks on other users, moderators, or staff members either in public forums or private messages will not be tolerated.
The use of profanity is inappropriate on the forum, as are racial, ethnic, or gender-based insults. Our user base is broad and includes members from various ages, genders, ethnicities and religious backgrounds, and it is important that everyone feel equally comfortable here. Posts that are offensive, insulting, or inflammatory are subject to immediate removal without warning.
Having fun or disagreement is permitted, as long as it does not become disruptive or rude.
All comments should be constructive and on-topic
2. No flaming
Do not post messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting.
3. No trolling
Do not put on a deliberately inflammatory personal in order to provoke a vehement response from other users. Try not to respond to people who do (don't feed the trolls!).
4. No thread hijacking
Do not use other people's threads to chat amongst yourselves. Use the PM function instead.
5. Swearing
Swearing is strictly forbidden and will not be tolerated.
6. Language
Please use English in the forums unless in an area where Turkish or other languages are acceptable. If you post in Turkish or another language outside of these areas then please provide a translation in English so that every member can understand within your post or your post may be deleted and warned.
7.Use the right subforum
Please ensure you post threads in the correct subforum. If you are unsure, post in the subforum you think most fitting. Each subforum has a few extra guidelines which are outlined below.
a)No multiple threads
Do not post multiple threads on the same topic. Select one subforum and make one thread. If you create multiple threads you may be warned for spamming. If you are unsure which is the correct subforum, post in Ask A Moderator and a mod will answer your query.
b)Use the search function
Before posting a thread try searching for a recent thread on the same topic, usually a brief look down the first page will suffice.
c)Use descriptive thread titles
Thread titles should be accurate and explain the content of the thread. Thread titles should not contain any censored words. If they do, you may be warned.
d)Do not repost deleted content
Do not repost something that a moderator has deleted or edited. Doing so will result in a warning. If you are unsure why something has been deleted, ask in Ask A Moderator.
e)Do not post up other people's pictures or contact details (myspace etc) without their permission.
f)Do not post warning PMs in public. Issues with moderation should be taken to Ask A Moderator.
g)No Advertising or Links to Third Party Web Sites which are harmful or unuseful for members or irrelavant with Turkishcourse content, Goods and Services. Useful links to Third Party Web Sites are appreciated, unuseful links will be deleted by moderators.
Linking to other sites is fine as long as it is within the context of a discussion; posting a link directly to a resource that answers a question is allowed. Over promotion is not acceptable and will be removed.
• Do not link to other sites or products for advertising purposes.
