Istanbul University Main Gate

After a short rest we went to walk. This is what we have seen first...
Istanbul University campus was built as the Ottoman Ministry of Military affairs. It was constructed by the French architect, Auguste Bourgeios between 1866-1870. Aftre the Ministries were moved to Ankara, this building was transfered to University of Istanbul.
