One of the Belgrade’s most significant public monuments dating from 19th century, situated at Terazije, the designated center of the city. Constructed in 1860, in honour of prince Miloš Obrenovi?’s coming back to power. The work of sculptor Franc Loran. Miloš Obrenovi?’s initials and the year of his return to power are engraved on all four sides of the fountain.

In the background you can see „Moskva“ hotel, built between 1906 and 1907 as an office building with a hotel for the insurance company „Rosija-Fonsijer“ from St. Petersburg. Designed by achitect Jovan Ilki? and architects from St. Petersburg. The decorative facades have a ceramic coating, which was made in Pe?uj.

This place is one of the Belgraders’ favourite meeting places.
